Conceptual Copywriter

We’re seeking an experienced, proactive, and ambitious Conceptual Copywriter to join our rapidly growing agency in our Scotland, Romania, Vienna & Austria offices. You’ll be partnering with other creatives/ Art Directors to work across our amazing portfolio of brands, as well as pitches and proactive projects. You are a strong conceptual thinker with outstanding creative abilities and copywriting skills, keen to craft and transform concepts and campaigns into clear, concise and engaging communications to embody and empower the voice of our global clients.

  • You have real-world copywriting and conceptualizing experience in a creative or marketing related field
  • You have a passion for writing, creativity, and you think outside the box conceptually
  • You have the agility and flexibility to conceptualize and write everything from video scripts, print ads and online banners to landing pages, emails, brochures, and social or mobile
  • You are proactive and self-directed
  • You have an awareness of emerging trends, developments and challenges in relevant industries and technologies
  • You are a team player and fierce collaborator, though can also work independently
  • You have and easy-going personality and positive approach to work
  • You consistently meet deadlines and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • You have passion, ambition, and a sense of fun!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering big creative ideas and campaign concepts for a wide range of B2B clients around the world
  • Collaborating with other writers, art directors, and designers to develop high-impact marketing and advertising campaign concepts, copy, headlines and narratives
  • Optimizing content email campaigns, social media, digital banners, and landing pages
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to create effective pitch decks and client presentations
  • Editing and proofreading long- and short-form copy, supporting junior team members with feedback
  • Presenting creative work and concepts internally and to clients
  • Successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Demonstrating a strong attention to detail and process, even as project demands evolve
  • Taking ownership of projects and ensuring they meet agreed deadlines, and always to a market-leading standard

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of copywriting, content and concept experience (online and traditional) in an agency or in-house setting
  • Experience working in B2B or business marketing in complex categories is a plus
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office/Apple software (Word, PowerPoint, Keynote); knowledge of Adobe Creative suite
  • University degree (undergraduate level or equivalent) in Communications, design or another creatively/culturally interesting field OR equivalent work experience
  • Multi-hyphenate skill set: Digital-traditional-social, Advertising-marketing-content, Long-form and short-form content, Left-brain-right-brain-creative-strategic
  • A well-rounded portfolio that reflects ‘big idea’ thinking, innovative copy and out-of-the-box thinking for diverse industries
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
