Senior Media Director/Media Director

We are seeking a talented Senior Media Director/Media Director to join our global team in our rapidly growing Glasgow, Vienna & Austria office.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversees media buying strategy, campaign creation, optimization, and rigorous testing strategy for full-funnel, multi-platform marketing strategies aligned to business priorities to achieve KPI targets
- Spearhead strategic thinking in the development of media plans to ensure they are delivering against stated client goals
- Stays current with new advances in media, the competitive landscape, and vendor capabilities; leverage that knowledge to influence current and future client engagements and strategies; drive media innovation, thought leadership, and best practice sharing throughout the organization
- Leverage data tactics across channels to further bolster the data-informed portions of plans with personalized messaging served during the right mindset.
- Manage and optimize the allocation of media investment across paid search, programmatic, audio/video, paid social, paid influencers, sponsored content, & 3rd party publishers
- Key liaison for all media questions, issues, knowledge for clients.
- Identify and lead prioritization of media projects to effectively manage workflow across media agencies and meet objectives.
- Establish and share media best practices and benchmarks across the agency and clients; highlighting opportunities to test, learn and optimize/evolve based on knowledge of customer insights, competitive media initiatives, new channels, and/or offerings by channel.

- You have a deep understanding of the Digital Media Ecosystem and how it is changing
- You demonstrate current hands-on experience in modern digital advertising platforms (adtech)
- You have experience with paid, earned and owned media

- Agency experience is a MUST
- Experience working on multiple paid media accounts of $1M plus
- Ability to manage global teams across multiple time zones
- Data driven and creative problem solver
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative, deadline driven environment
- Adaptable to shifting projects and competing priorities
- Detail oriented and supremely organized
- Ability to analyse reports and data, provide concise explanations, and problem solve
- Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and platforms and full-funnel lead generation
- Media confidence in order to articulate rationale for thinking both internally and to clients
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, marketing and technical challenges
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to prioritize, sequence and deliver projects on time and on budget
