Traffic Coordinator

We’re seeking a brilliant, dynamic traffic coordinator to help grow our creative/content capabilities to join our rapidly growing Glasgow office.

Who we’re looking for:

You’ll be an excellent facilitator, master prioritiser and highly proactive problem solver. Someone who has strategic, business and diplomatic acumen, and a strong eye for detail. Someone who thrives on big challenges and responds with big creative solutions.

You should also have some experience project managing creative projects – from gathering campaign requirements through planning and creation to production and release. And you must love to inspire people, wrangle resources and always keep things moving forward!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist with trafficking a high volume of creative projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Support the traffic manager by acting as a key point of contact and ongoing liaison for the creative/content team with stakeholders throughout the agency
  • Work across various projects and simultaneously manage execution, from conception through to final delivery
  • Assist the traffic manager with monitoring daily workflow and coordinating all incoming requests
  • Reinforce project delivery processes for internal teams
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are executed successfully and on time.

Day to Day:

Planning

  • Work alongside the client service team to effectively map out resource plans and activity; taking into consideration capacity/budget/schedules/deliverables
  • Work in conjunction with team management including Design/Content/Development/Marketing to identify any potential issues with capacity/resource/deliverables and provide positive, workable solutions
  • Work in tandem with the project management teams to ensure agency acts as one when scheduling new projects and activities
  • Daily maintenance of the creative resource planner ensuring any changes to team priorities or workloads is highlighted
  • Assist the traffic manager with weekly creative resource and capacity planning

Production

  • Take ownership of the daily priorities update and circulate to the wider team
  • Maximize the output and efficiency of creative teams by assisting with task prioritization and daily organization of workloads
  • Daily reporting on project/activity/task status to client services team
  • Assist traffic manager to run creative stand up meetings to ensure the team are unified on daily and weekly deliverables
  • Act as a team ambassador responsible for well-being and workload; identify any issues and escalate to the traffic manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of project management or account services in agency or in-house setting, online and traditional
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office/Apple software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote) and project management platforms; knowledge of Adobe Creative suite a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field a plus
  • Real-world experience in a journalistic, creative or marketing related field
  • Experience working in B2B or business marketing in complex categories a plus
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong eye for detail is essential
  • Consistently meets deadlines and has the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with a team
